JUST UPDATED 2024: JAPAN COMING SOON: New York City / Austin / Los Angeles / San Diego / San Antonio / Houston / Dallas / Shanghai / Singapore / Branson (Missouri) / Western Montana

Hi, welcome to the Bradley family Travel Blog! The point of the blog is to let our family and friends see what we are doing and if they ever go to these places they can choose what to see and what to avoid. We tend to lean toward the more active side - like "leave no stone unturned" so if you want to go at a more leisurely pace, you can just pick and choose. Choose a destination above, on the map, or in the groups on the right hand side of the page.

Happy travels, Phill, Shellie, Bix, Brooke

New Mexico - Day 4

Day 4 (Saturday)

Today we woke up early and went to the Bufalo Thunder Golf Course (Towa Club) - three 9 hole courses on the hotel property.  Brooke, Papa John, and I played the Valley course.  The courses have beautiful views (of the desert and hills).  Brooke and John played like dogshit - John had a new set of clubs and Brooke just needs more practice, but both had a few great shots.

We hustled from the resort to get to Santa Fe Rafting Co on time for our rafting trip down the Rio Grande,  After getting to the departure location in downtown Santa Fe, we had to drive (in an air-conditioned van) for a little over an hour to the rafting site 25 miles north of Espanola.  We had a great time - 6 of us in the raft, plus out guide Jake.  We went about 6 miles and did several class III rapids.  I got majorly sunburned because I wasn't wearing a t-shirt.  after driving back, we went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner and then the ladies went to the casino and I just stayed home to recuperate.
