JUST UPDATED 2024: JAPAN COMING SOON: New York City / Austin / Los Angeles / San Diego / San Antonio / Houston / Dallas / Shanghai / Singapore / Branson (Missouri) / Western Montana

Hi, welcome to the Bradley family Travel Blog! The point of the blog is to let our family and friends see what we are doing and if they ever go to these places they can choose what to see and what to avoid. We tend to lean toward the more active side - like "leave no stone unturned" so if you want to go at a more leisurely pace, you can just pick and choose. Choose a destination above, on the map, or in the groups on the right hand side of the page.

Happy travels, Phill, Shellie, Bix, Brooke

Mediterranean sea Day 6

Today we were at sea the whole day.  In the morning we played mini golf.  We didn't try the rock wall, but we saw an awesome little girl climb it like it was nothing.

Then we spent the day gambling and cruising around the ship.  We saw our friend Christy from the UK at the head of the dancing lesson:

The we went to a wine tasting for the wines of the Bordeaux region and they were really great - even for a beer guy like me.

Then we Skyped our kids and got to talk to them for a while which was really great!  We were sailing so close to the Greek Isles that I was able to call them and get Skype working where they were.

Then we went to a delicious dinner at the ship's steakhouse, Chops.

Shellie had a giant lobster and I had Colossal Shrimp with a NY Strip.

At the end they brought us dessert and sang Happy Anniversary and gave us cake.

We had to make sure we got to the Casino by 10:45 because they were drawing for an upgrade to a suite and you had to be present to win.  There were only about 10 People present and they had 85 names of eligible people based on casino play.  The first name they called was PHILL BRADLEY!!!!  So we spent the next hour moving from our old room to our new suite at the front of the ship:

Not to mention the full bathroom with marble floors, two sinks, and a full tub, vs the 10sqft normal ship bathroom.

We finished the night staring out into the ultimate blackness of the Aegean Sea.  So black it felt like we were in space - I've never experienced anything like it.  Tomorrow we dock in Turkey.  Our waiter said fantastic shopping and sightseeing and beautiful weather awaits us.
