JUST UPDATED 2024: JAPAN COMING SOON: New York City / Austin / Los Angeles / San Diego / San Antonio / Houston / Dallas / Shanghai / Singapore / Branson (Missouri) / Western Montana

Hi, welcome to the Bradley family Travel Blog! The point of the blog is to let our family and friends see what we are doing and if they ever go to these places they can choose what to see and what to avoid. We tend to lean toward the more active side - like "leave no stone unturned" so if you want to go at a more leisurely pace, you can just pick and choose. Choose a destination above, on the map, or in the groups on the right hand side of the page.

Happy travels, Phill, Shellie, Bix, Brooke

Japan - Day 13 - Departure

Time to go home - our ankles were swollen and killing us from this much walking.

We were lucky enough that there was a bus that serviced the Disney Hotels to Narita airport for a reasonable rate. Luggage storage under the bus and bathrooms on board. It was way easier than I had planned, which was to take all our luggage to a major station then take the NEX.

At the airport (we were way early) I returned the Wifi devices and we ate lunch. There were a fair amount of options before going through the gates.  American struggled with our baggage check-in but luckily we had all the time in the world and were at our gate with plenty of time for last-minute souvenir shopping.

We used up the balances on our IC cards and all the major cash and coins we were carrying.

The flight home, going with the jet stream was just over 10 hours all the way to DFW - fast!  Our connecting flight to Austin was delayed, so we ate Mexican food for the first time in two weeks while we waited.

Good to be home now, but our trip to Japan was memorable!
